Sixth Form Admissions
The HSAEL sixth form is deliberately small, with just 50 places available each year. Joining a small sixth form that is part of a large network of successful Academies gives you the benefit of small class sizes and specialist support.

Applications open for 2025 entry. Please fill in the online form to be considered for entry (internal and external candidates). |
| 13 November 2025 | HSAEL Sixth Form Open Evening 5.30-7pm – find out about the ethos of the Sixth Form and meet subject staff and sixth form students. If you wish to attend, please click here to register. |
| January 2026 | Early offers made. |
| April 2026 | Final offers made. Offer holders networking event – meet current sixth form students, learn about Harris Futures, HSAEL alumni and meet key staff. |
| June 2026 | Sixth Form Taster – experience HSAEL lessons and get a taste of life as HSAEL sixth form student. |
| 20 August 2026 | Enrolment Day |
Entry Requirements

General Admissions |
Grade 5 English (Language or Literature) and Maths. |

A-levels taken at GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, History, English Literature, French, Computer Science. |
Grade 6 in chosen subject. |

A-levels not taken at GCSE: Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Philosophy |
Grade 6 in Maths: Economics, Computer Science, Psychology Grade 6 in English/RS: Philosophy Grade 6 in either history/ geography/ RS: Psychology |

Please note, we do not make offers to students who want to resit A-levels.
