HSAEL Hat Trick – Year 13 students raise the bar for a third year in a row!

Students at Harris Science Academy are today celebrating another year of strong A Level results.

A record number of students were awarded top grades, with five times more A and A* grades awarded than in 2025 and the proportion of A*-B grades up by 19 percentage points.

Congratulations to the following students:

  • Lea, who secured A* A* A.
  • Shakeel, who secured A A A.
  • Anika, who secured A A A.

Our students have used these exceptional results to secure places at prestigious Russell Group universities:

  • Artur, who has been at the Academy since Year 7, secured A* A B and will be studying Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London.
  • Labib secured A* A B and will be studying Engineering at Queen Mary University London.
  • Meherul achieved A* A B and will be studying Neuroscience at King’s College London.

We are also celebrating:

  • Arabella, who joined the Academy in Year 7, will be studying Philosophy with French at University College London.

  • Cally, who will be studying Liberal Arts at University College London.

  • Julius, who will be studying Chemistry at the University of Durham.
  • Nana, who joined the Academy in Year 11, and will be studying Politics and Law at the University of Warwick.

Principal, Dan MacPherson, said, “We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students. As our largest sixth form cohort in the last 5 years, we are pleased to have delivered excellent results on a much larger scale. Thanks to the exceptional teaching and pastoral care at the Academy, our Class of 2026 are confidently taking their next steps in becoming leaders in their chosen field.”
